If I wasn’t writing a blog post today, should I put anything in it’s place, or simply not post anything?
Yes, I have skipped a day here and there, which tends to make me feel that I have let myself down, because I did make a commitment to myself to write something every day.
Which brings me back to what I wrote about doing something that was good enough.
Good enough, doesn’t cut it with me, and if I can’t demand better of myself, then why should anyone else?
If I stick with good enough, then that will always be the bar.
Which is something that I don’t want.
I started this daily posting to see how I improve and get better at writing.
Which I won’t be able to do if I think it is good enough to skip a day or two.
This in turn is good for me, because today, I honestly didn’t think I would be able to write a blog post for today. (My original plan was to simply have this as the test pattern image, and nothing else).
Maybe writer’s block doesn’t actually exist after all…
