Supposedly we have to call a climate emergency.
Though what does adding that “E” word to things actually do?
Would you believe absolutely nothing.
If it does nothing, is there any point to calling it an emergency?
If you want something to actually be done, there isn’t.
Though, if you want to do something that gives everyone the impression that you are doing something, without actually doing anything, jumping on the climate emergency bandwagon is the best thing to do.
Just like all those other corporate and political buzzwords, the word emergency has now lost all meaning.
