Today is Star Wars Day.
Personally, I am not really a fan of the series, something about it that I couldn’t really get into. (Though countless others have. I am more of a fan of the Star Trek, and Stargate franchises).
Though, what I did get into was the book that inspired it, and countless other movies, tv shows, games, etc.
The book is Joseph Campbell’s The Hero with a Thousand Faces.
If you get a chance to read it, I recommend that you do.
It is also a book that we can use in our own life to talk about our own journey of where we came from, and where we are going.
Some of what is talked about in the book may be a bit challenging, though if you read it with an open mind, I am sure you will come out a better person at the end.
And who knows, that could be the start of your hero’s journey.
