Think about the humble shopping trolley and the grief that it causes shoppers.
For the size of them, they are not able to adequately handle the load that is put in them.
That is if you can find one that steers straight when empty.
Then have a look at what the personal shoppers use at your local Coles or Woolworths.
They are completely different, and most likely able to carry just as many items as the shopping trolley.
Why are they different?
Could it be that a shopping trolley is actually a marketing tool for the supermarket?
Think about it.
How many people would go walking down an aisle, look in someone else’s trolley, and remember that they needed to buy x, y or z?
