Why aren’t we building communities?
The stronger the community, the stronger the members of that community become.
The stronger the members become, the more resilient they become to the challenges that life throws at us.
The more resilient that we become, the stronger our community becomes.
Except I don’t see any level of government wanting to do that.
Instead they are throwing more and more distractions at us.
Will another sports ground build a stronger community or will it only serve as a distraction?
What will the Olympic Games really do for our community?
Governments need to stop looking at money, and short term “wins”, and start focusing more on the longevity of our communities.
Communities, that, if things keep going the way they are, may not be around for much longer.
