Does a god exist?
Personally, I don’t think we should be asking that question.
The more important one is “What if there isn’t a god?”
I think we should all be living like one, or a few, do exist.
If there isn’t, then at least we can say that we have lived a good life.
If there is, then we can hope that the life we lived is acceptable to them.
