Are we too entitled?
And, is that entitlement causing us harm?
For example, we expect to be able to buy something whenever we want to, paying little regard to the lives of those in the store.
We expect to be able to go out for a meal somewhere on our day off, and get upset when the restaurant/cafe isn’t open.
We expect others to pay more attention to our wants and demands than we are ourselves.
We expect to be able to buy the same vegetable all year round for the same price. (The industry is as much to blame as we are, because they are the ones who are making us think we can).
Does all of this help make society better, or does it simply cause us to have tantrums when we can’t get what we want, when we want?
