Do you think that when Seneca wrote those words 2,000 years ago that he was talking about the influencers on social media?
Or was he simply talking about people in general?
Following, idolising or wanting to be like those who are only interested in “likes” and “shares” isn’t doing us any good.
Maybe we should literally be the change we want to see in the world, and do some good without telling anyone or wanting to be patted on the back for it.
