I have been writing blog posts in some shape or form for over 10 years now.
For my first blog, I used an alias to rant about being vegan in a non-vegan world.
It started off as a free WordPress site, then grew into having it’s own domain.
I still have the vegan related one, though the blogs I post on have grown in number.
There is now a business one, this one, and soon to be released blog on coffee and vegan wine.
As you can see, and will experience if you jump head first into blogging, that they are addictive.
For me, the endorphin rush doesn’t come from seeing the stats for the site improve, nor is is from the number of email subscribers that I have. Though, they do help.
It is the rush of knowing that I have published a post that means something to me, and that someone will find useful.
There are a heap of free platforms for you to chose from out there where you can start your own blog, is there really any excuse for you not having your own?
You don’t need to post every day. Start with once a fortnight, or once a week, and see how it goes.
What’s the worst that can happen?
