We tend to appreciate things more when we have to work for the result.
And, possibly paradoxically, we also want to avoid having to struggle to get there.
Yet more often than not, it is the struggle that gets us to the end result, and makes it worth it.
It is also the struggle that makes us a better person than we were before we started.
Maybe it is time we started looking at the struggle as being what makes the end result worth it.
