Stoicism is one of those philosophies that has been around for years, that very few seem to know about or understand.
I’ll admit that the first time I heard about it was way back in 2009, in a blog post by Tim Ferris.
At the time, I didn’t look into it any further as I didn’t think it would be relevant for those who live in the “real world”.
I then heard about it a 4 or 5 years ago when I came across the Stockdale Paradox while doing research for a rant I was working on for my vegan police blog.
Since that time I have been getting more involved in it, and understanding it better.
If you want to know more about Stoicism, I recommend checking out the Daily Stoic.
One of the things they talk about is the benefit of daily journaling.
While I am not going to share what I write here, I do think it is something that everyone should be doing.
To help me with this, there is a Stoic app that I use, that may also help you too. (No affiliate link, and will open iTunes).
