Watching people cross a road is something that fascinates me.
We know, or should, that cross at the lights is safer than crossing elsewhere.
So, why do so many of us ignore it?
Is getting somewhere one or two minutes earlier really worth taking that risk?
Yes you may have to wait a few more minutes for the light to change green.
Or, you may have to walk 10 meters outside of your planned path.
Yet the delay or diversion will be worth it.
Though, what if you are teaching your children to do the same?
Is the bad habit you are instilling in them worth it?
