There’s something about the Jack Reacher series of novels that makes people want to live like him.
I will admit that there are parts of his life that do sound appealing.
Though sadly, it is almost impossible to actually live like Jack Reacher.
For those who came in late, Jack Reacher travels the United States, paying cash for everything, only carrying his toothbrush, an ATM card, and an expired passport.
He makes it a habit to be on as few databases as possible.
What isn’t there to like about that?
Though for those of us who would like to do it, it is virtually impossible to do so.
We have a multitude of numbers and databases tracking virtually every move we make.
And sadly, it is only going to get worse.
Maybe that is why the Jack Reacher series of novels is appealing to so many people.
